At the courses, you will find a full presentation of the theoretical material and a number of laboratory works in an individual environment to consolidate knowledge in practice
BIG-IP Administration Training September 2-3 | Duration: 2 days (16 hrs)
Description
Administration training is the first step in learning solutions from F5 Networks and is the basis for further learning of all functional modules. It is intended for technical specialists who work with F5 Networks solutions. The training consists of theoretical lectures from tutors certified by the vendor and laboratory work to consolidate the acquired knowledge.
At the training, students learn general issues of physical and virtual device administration, basic configuration and licensing, cluster configuration, the basics of working with traffic and its processing (Virtual servers, pools, health checks, persistence, etc.), features of working in the CLI, the use of NAT and SNAT, work with logging and solution configuration backup features. In addition, tutors willingly share their own experiences with students and answer their questions.
As a result of the training, students will learn how to start work with the solution and acquire practical skills. In addition, the training creates a solid base for further study of profile functional modules and various scenarios of the application of solutions.

· Setting Up the BIG-IP System· General Administration of the BIG-IP System· Traffic Processing Algorithms· Network Configuration· Configuring and Managing a High Availability Deployment· Using NATs and SNATs· Configuring Multi-Tenancy· Using Rolled Based Access Control· Monitoring Application Health
Requirements for participants
● Know the principles of building IP/TCP networks up to L4 OSI level (switching, routing, firewall and relevant protocols) ● Have their own computer on Windows or MacOS; ● Be able to install a VPN client to connect to the laboratory environment; ● Know English at a sufficient level to work with technical documentation
BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM) Configuration Training September 9-11 | Duration: 3 days (24 hrs)
Description
This training provides a detailed introduction to the LTM functional module from F5 Networks. It is helpful for technical specialists who implement or maintain this module. The training consists of theoretical lectures from tutors certified by the vendor and laboratory work to consolidate the acquired knowledge.
The training is designed to master the art of load balancing inside the data centre. It reveals all the nuances of application performance and traffic/request distribution. The programme particularly emphasises the interaction of application publishing tools in terms of tracking user sessions, server/service performance, building traffic balancing scenarios and the impact of these tools on the balancing result. In addition, tutors consider the issue of customised scenarios for working with traffic using the iRule scripting language and protection against several typical attacks exclusively due to the LTM module.
As a result of the training, students can independently configure application load balancing and other tools to improve the performance and stability of applications at the data centre level.

Requirements for participants
To complete the course, students need: ● Know the principles of building IP/TCP networks up to L4 OSI level (switching, routing, firewall and relevant protocols) ● Have their own computer on Windows or MacOS; ● Be able to install a VPN client to connect to the laboratory environment; ● Know English at a sufficient level to work with technical documentation
BIG-IP Troubleshooting TrainingSeptember 16-17 | Duration: 2 days (16 hrs)
Description
The training is a logical continuation of the BIG-IP Administration Training. It focuses on diagnosing and troubleshooting arising during the operation of the F5 Networks solution. The training is helpful for technical specialists who work on the configuration and maintenance of F5 Networks solutions. The training consists of theoretical lectures from tutors certified by the vendor and laboratory work to consolidate the acquired knowledge.
This training examines basic configuration, clustering from the point of view of incorrect configuration/faults and ways to diagnose and eliminate them. At the training, students learn about the best practices for finding problems, search tools and log information, features of working with support, etc.
As a result of the training, students will learn the basics of troubleshooting techniques and incorrect general F5 settings without delving into a specific functional module. This knowledge allows them to independently diagnose and eliminate problems in the operation of F5 Networks solutions or escalate to the appropriate specialists based on the results of the initial self-diagnosis.

You can easily find specialists with some experience in F5, but only a few confirm this experience with the appropriate vendor certification. In our course, only certified F5 trainers will teach you. The vendor itself has tested and approved their knowledge and skills.
Bohdan Syrotenko Сertified lecturer, Technical Director, B4 Department | BAKOTECH
Bohdan has worked in BAKOTECH as long as the B4 Department has existed – namely, for nine years. During this period, Bohdan became the head of the technical direction of the department.
Bohdan is a structural engineer who thinks first and then acts. Bohdan has the same teaching approach, making him a consistent and competent teacher. With his help, students move from simple to complex, from small to large-scale and from real to impossible.
